Q&A With Writer Eliot Pattison on W³ Sidecar
Excerpt:"What have you learned from your current project?I have always considered that to be successful a novel should transport the reader to new places. To accomplish this the writer must first be transported. Done well, this means creating new opportunities for self-discovery or new perspectives on geography, history or culture. I have never written a novel in which I did not deliberately set out on a new line of research, in quest of new knowledge and perspectives. Right now I am studying spiritual power places, Tibetan art, and the tragic upsurge in self-immolation protests in Tibet."For the full interview, click here: w3sidecar.tumblr.com
