Q&A With Writer Rick Lupert on W³ Sidecar

ninein-cover-150Excerpt:"Why do you write?I have a short-term memory. Or possibly a long-term memory. I forget. I write because of the spectacular details I discover in the seemingly mundane details of every day life. The oddly worded sign. The choice of words heard in a conversation which could have meanings well beyond what the speaker intended. The forgotten detail in the painting which tells its own story beyond the main visible protagonist. I write these details down through my own poet’s filter. I’m documenting my own life…I’m a hoarder of the details. I write so I can go back and experience them all over again. I write because otherwise I’d forget."For the full Q&A, click here: w3sidecar.tumblr.com
