The New York Post "Required Reading" : Every Night is a Saturday Night by Bobby Keys

Full review: Early on, saxophonist Keys played with fellow Texan Buddy Holly, but he’s probably best known for his work with the Rolling Stones (including on “Let It Bleed,” on “Exile on Main Street” and on tour). Among his rock ’n’ roll tales are a Champagne bath with a French beauty and not only buying a first-class plane ticket for his sax so he wouldn’t have to check it, but insisting stewardesses bring the instrument a first-class meal. Keys also tells of smoking hash with John Lennon and having American sailors back from Southeast Asia tossing marijuana to Keith Richards, with whom Keys was boating in France. Sax, drugs and rock ’n’ roll, indeed.Hyperlink: NYPost.com
